England Coach Tim Southee Unsure on The Ashes Participation

England's fast-bowling advisor Tim Southee is still working through what his involvement will be at the upcoming Ashes series in Australia.
The ex- New Zealand seamer is expected to be present for the first Test because of his involvement in the International League T20 competition, which starts on December 2 in the UAE.
The 36-year-old, 36, assumed a role as the English team's pace bowling advisor in the summer after claiming 391 scalps in 107 Tests for the Kiwis.
Speaking as the English team for the opening of three Twenty20 games against New Zealand was named, he said of his availability: "We are still evaluating the situation at the moment.
"We will determine the outcome over the coming days."
England pace icon Broad had stated the Australia team as their "weakest squad since 2010", but the consultant was in little doubt over what to expect during the contest, which starts on November 21.
"I don't think there's at any time a bad Aussie side," Southee remarked.
"Our focus is squarely on our own objectives. I think the caliber of [England's] side that's going out to the host country is brilliant.
"It should be an thrilling encounter, the Ashes. Not just [are|do] fans from both nations eagerly anticipate it, I believe the entire cricketing community is."
However, before England travel to Perth for the first Ashes match, they face New Zealand in Christchurch on this Saturday.
