'The president appears unhinged': Trump's social media activity appears more strange.
To many observers, both in the US and abroad, Donald Trump has been acting peculiarly lately. Notably in digital spaces.
Latest Social Media Events
As a government shutdown loomed in the US the previous week, the president posted an artificial intelligence creation which depicted the House minority leader, the inaugural African American minority leader, donning a wide-brimmed hat and amplified facial hair, with mariachi music playing behind the scenes.

Artificial Intelligence Posts and Unverified Claims
This represented merely one example in which the president's conduct appeared strange. Recently Trump reposted via his preferred network a computer-created false clip which promoted "therapeutic bed centers".
Each US resident will shortly obtain their own med bed card," the computer-generated president seemingly in the Oval Office stated. "With it, you'll have assured entry to our fresh medical facilities managed by leading physicians in the nation."
Setting aside the fact that the concept of "medical beds" constitutes a right-leaning speculative claim – one version of the theory posits that federal authorities and/or a group of wealthy Americans control sophisticated health technology that can cure almost every illness, yet are concealing the innovation – Trump's post prompted multiple inquiries.
Administration Response
The post was ultimately deleted, however it stays confusing, and the White House's response did little to allay the perplexity.
I believe the commander-in-chief viewed the clip and shared it, and then took it down," the White House press secretary stated during questioning about the clip.

Michigan Incident Response
Back in the social media world, the commander-in-chief shared via his preferred network that he "received information" regarding a shooting at a religious facility within Michigan causing four deaths.
He did indeed post again. Yet, it didn't constitute news about the continuing incident within the state. Instead, three hours later, he circulated a clip featuring various gold-plated items and ornaments.
Armed Forces Speech
Setting aside Trump's confusing online behavior, the president's in-person appearances have also become odd.
On Tuesday, Trump gathered the nation's leading armed forces leaders for a gathering in Virginia. Talking to high-ranking officers, Trump, seeming fatigued, touted his alleged successes.
Our nation is honored again globally. We lacked respect under Biden," Trump continued. They witnessed him tumbling on staircases every day. Repeatedly, the person trips on stairways."
Official Responses
The speech generated instant worry, comprising retired armed forces personnel. Former General Barry McCaffrey told MSNBC that the commander-in-chief's delivery constituted "some of the most peculiar, concerning occurrences I've experienced".
"The president seemed confused, fatigued, extremely political, sometimes unintelligent," the retired officer commented.
The president's address sufficed for Representative Madeleine Dean, a Pennsylvania Democratic representative, to challenge the Republican congressional leader, Mike Johnson.
"The commander-in-chief appears unstable. He is unwell," Dean told Johnson.
Johnson looked untroubled regarding the statements. "Well a lot of folks from your party appear similar," Johnson responded.
